The two friends Sally and Molly met after a long time.
The reunion was like a fancy treat.
They greeted each other with a smile and hugs.
The excitement was clearly visible on their faces.
The women had been anxiously waiting for this moment.
They sat comfortably on a couch. All they did was binge on food and drinks and chat.
And lied to each other that they are on diet with a wink.
None of them had lost an inch since the time they last met.
The fat on their bellies revealed the truth, I bet.
Still both boasted about their curves and stature.
The topics of conversation were as usual spicy and generated much heat.
From Carla's divorce, to Jim's third marriage with a pregnant woman..
OMG.. These women can give competition to the world's finest investigating agency.
The chit and chat just went on and on,
With each one blowing their own horns.
Still they went on and on
From dusk till dawn..
I wonder if they forgot their watches or brains at home.
From their professional lives to the personal ones,
They discussed everything and left no stones unturned.
In an attempt to find out what goes on behind the walls.
Both seemed insane and kept annoying each other with their crazy tales .
From finding cures for pimples to what hid beneath the dimples…
They covered it all in one blow.
They laughed wholeheartedly till the wrinkles on their plumpy faces obviously showed up.
They competed with each other .
Both of them suffered from a mental disorder and seemed eligible candidates to be thrown into the asylum.
Still they went on and on..
The chit and chat that never seems to have an end.
They kept pulling each other's leg
And kept begging for a pardon in between.
None of them was willing to give up .

Until Sally got a call from the salon,
For she had made an appointment and forgotten about it amidst their chit and chat.
Finally both of them kissed and waved each other bye..
